Sunday Worship Service
When and where do you meet for your Sunday worship service?
We meet on Sundays at 1:00pm at 607 Pena Drive (607 Pena Dr.) in Davis.
How can I get there?
If you live on the UC Davis campus during the academic year (excluding summer), we provide a free shuttle service from/to all the dorms [shuttle locations]. The pick-up time at all the dorms is 12:40am. If you live off-campus, you can either drive on your own or if you need a ride please contact 530-750-3256). [map/directions]
Where can I park?
Davis Musical Theatre has ample parking in their parking lot all around the building.
What should I wear to church?
We don’t have any dress code for church. Feel free to dress casually!
What is the Sunday Worship Service format?
The schedule for our worship service is: Praise (10 min), opening prayer, offering (for those who are regular members of our church; guests are not expected to contribute), sermon (~50 min), closing song (5 min), closing prayer and announcements (5 min). Entire service is approximately 90 minutes. We also have lunch fellowship time immediately following the service.
How many people attend your services?
We currently average ~200 attendees for a typical Sunday.
Do you have childcare available?
Yes, we do have childcare available during Sunday service.
Do you have any program for children (ages 3 – 6th grade?)
Yes, we do have age appropriate children’s program for toddlers through elementary school children.
Do you have any program for youths (grades 7-12)?
Unfortunately at this time, we do not have a separate youth (grades 7-12) department, but they join our Element Youth Group at our Gracepoint Berkeley Church (on Fridays or Saturdays). They also attend our Sunday worship service here at Davis.
About Our Church
Is it only for Christians?
Christians and non-Christians alike are welcome to our church! In fact we have many people who regularly attend our church who are not believers but attend our services to learn more about Christianity. We also offer various courses for those who want to learn more about Christianity.
Is your church only for Asian-Americans?
We are a multi-ethnic church. While currently, we have mostly Asian-Americans, we welcome everyone from all backgrounds and ages.
What’s the composition of your church?
About 60% of our members are college students, another 20% are graduate students and 20% are working adults.
What denomination is your church a part of?
We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and a part of the Sacramento Association of Southern Baptist Churches.
Are there Bible studies?
Yes. We have weekly Bible studies for college students and graduate/working professionals. Please visit our events calendar for more information.

How can I become a member?
You do not have to be an official member of our church to attend our meetings and events. However, as an official member of Gracepoint Davis, one can become even more involved in the functioning of our church (e.g., voting privileges at congregational meetings, opportunities to serve in certain capacities, etc.).
