2012 Valentine’s Day of Compassion
In 2006, our sisters and some brothers decided to turn an ordinary Valentine’s Day into a Day of Compassion by visiting elderly homes and homeless shelters throughout the Bay Area, contrary to the popular notion that Valentine’s Day is exclusively about romantic love. Since that time, our church has embraced this day as an opportunity to bring joy and God’s love to our community with gifts, food, songs, and dance.
